Tacx Trainer Issues
Follow the instructions! Tacx software and hardware installation is different than other installs, requiring specific actions in a specific sequence. It's all in the instructions, follow them!
Download the updates. Tacx releases software updates for their products throughout the year. If there has been an issue, an update is made and should be downloaded. There are updates for both software and for the firmware (the resistance unit). This will solve many problems that might occur. Updates are found on the Tacx support page.
- The are updates for the software and also for the motor brake on the Cosmos and Fortius units. It is again a very specific series of steps to update the motor brake, but it is worth it.
